History

Autism Support Network (ASN) began as a small community initiative on a social media platform created by families who shared a simple but powerful goal to ensure that no autistic person or parent ever feels alone.

Founded in 2025, ASN grew from the lived experiences of parents, carers, and advocates who recognised the urgent need for practical, compassionate support and a safe space to share experiences.

What started as informal peer meetings and local awareness events soon evolved into a structured network offering family support, autism awareness training, and inclusive community programmes.

Driven by empathy and guided by lived experience, ASN’s founders, Eric Moor, Deborah Fort, Ayishetu Ankrah, and Canasta Mary Neville-Agbeeleye and Deborah Omile worked together to build a charity rooted in understanding, hope, and belonging.

Today, ASN continues to grow as a trusted, community-driven organisation, partnering with schools, healthcare providers, and local authorities to champion inclusion and celebrate neurodiversity.

Our journey remains grounded in the belief that every autistic person deserves to be seen, heard, and supported, not just accepted, but truly included.
